There are 3 SPED preschool classes and 14 kindergarten classes. Every classroom has a full-time teacher assistant.  We are excited to have a Math Lab this year with a lead math teacher.  In addition, there are a Reading First Literacy Coach, 3 Reading First Tutors, and an Interventionist on staff who help provide tutorial services to targeted children.

From The Principal Minimize

We at West Primary are privileged to take a vital role in the physical, mental, social, and educational development of the young children we serve. We take pride in our mission to establish a safe environment and to provide an atmosphere which is conducive to learning based on sound academic principles. The curriculum and methods of instruction are age-appropriate and include a hands-on/learn by doing approach.  Parental involvement is a mainstay at West Primary. Moms and dads, guardians and grandparents, are all encouraged to become part of the West family. Please stop by and see.
